Earlier in 1988, the youths of Khidderpore slum had made a platform in the name of PEO – Progressive Educational Organization with a sense to create awareness on importance of education among all as well as to ensure quality education at the school level (Primary, Junior & High) of the locality through different programs. We had organized a mega rally of approx 5000 people in the year 1994 in which school children, teachers, parents, lawyers, doctors and other dignitaries of the society participated with funding support of Howrah Lions Club and Dhanwantary Medical group.
